Fees and Terms

*If booking via a funeral director they will make payment arrangements and charge your account accordingly. I do not charge a fee for baby and child funerals.
Travel expenses– All my prices include travel costs up to a 40-mile radius of Cheltenham. After that all mileage is at 45p per mile.
Accommodation– I am happy to travel throughout the UK and abroad. At cost price if flight tickets or overnight stay in hotel required
Funerals and Memorials
If my services are arranged via a Funeral Director, they will arrange to pay my fee and charge you as part of their overall costs. If booking directly, my fee is due prior to or on the day of the ceremony. If my services are cancelled, you will be liable for costs relating to any work carried out and possibly the full fee if cancellation is at short notice.
Weddings and Other Celebrations
Payment: A non-returnable 50% deposit is payable at the point of booking. Payment of any balance is due 4 weeks before your ceremony
Legal Status:For weddings & commitment ceremonies and handfastings, you are aware the ceremony will not be legally recognised in England and Wales. To formalise the legal requirements you must attend a Registry office or licensed premises (if you desire legal recognition).
You have a right to cancel a contract with me without giving any reason within 14 days of entering into the contract. In order to exercise your right to cancel, you must inform me of your decision in writing (letter sent by post or email). You are advised to obtain proof that you have informed me.
To meet the cancellation deadline, you should let me know that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. If you cancel this contract within this period, I will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the cancellation notice has been received. I will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
If you cancel the booking after the 14-day period and prior to the date of your ceremony you will be liable to pay for any work already undertaken. If cancellation is within 28 days of the ceremony, you may be liable for the full costs.
You will only be asked for personal information relevant to your ceremony. All personal information provided will only be used by me and exclusively used to plan and conduct your ceremony. The information will not be shared with anyone else without your consent. All your information will be encrypted and securely stored on a password-protected computer. I will offer you a “keepsake copy” of your service, as a printed document or a PDF document version by email, and will need to know whether you would like me to do this, before your details are removed from my files. All information supplied will be destroyed within 7 days following your ceremony.
